Pennsylvania Maple Queen Scholarship Pageant

Tickets for the 78th Maple Queen Scholarship Pageant will go on sale January 2025.
Each spring, high school senior girls from across Somerset County have the opportunity to compete in the Pennsylvania Maple Queen Scholarship Pageant. Since 1947, over 1,000 young ladies have competed in the pageant and over $300,000 in scholarship awards and savings bonds have been awarded by the Pennsylvania Maple Festival.
The annual pageant offers scholarships in the amount of $2,500, $1,000 and $500 to Queen Maple, 1st Maid of Honor and 2nd Maid of Honor, respectively, along with cash awards for individual award winners. Our program goes beyond the scholarships; contestants obtain public speaking skills, learn interview techniques, gain friendships, community networking, knowledge of the maple industry and so much more!
